Technology has initiated and
participated in the development of leading edge
blast and bombproof
defence and security technology, in particular the state-of-the-art
bombproof polymer reinforced composites for the protection of personnel
and buildings against bomb, blast and projectile damage.
This has led to the development of Polymer Modified Gypsum (PMG Ô), a patented blast resistant material developed for the protection of personnel and buildings from the effects of bombs and projectiles, and ArmorcreteÔ a low cost composite material particularly designed to withstand armour piercing bullets. The bombproof materials are suitable for external applications and are able to withstand the harshest of environments. |
|
| Recent conflicts around the world have again highlighted the need for more affordable bombproof defence systems. This is not only for military structures but also for the protection of major strategically sensitive areas such as power plants and commercial centres. |
|
|
Due to the unique flexible properties of PMG, our anti terrorism bombproof systems can be used with the utmost confidence in all defence and security applications. PMG is a state-of-the-art bombproof technology for the protection of personnel, buildings and property from terrorist bomb attacks with the added advantage that it can be very easily retrofitted to bombproof any type of structure or building. |
|
PMG is the only currently available affordable bombproof matrix building system that can protect against blast and projectile threats and provide additional resistance to nuclear, biological and chemical attacks. The basic PMG material is hard wearing, colour fast and lightweight and can be formed into any shape or appearance. This competitive flexibility allows the use in any specialist building application where a highly decorative appearance is required. |
